Floral Arrangement
Our special arrangements are created personally for you and are a little different from the vase arrangements you’ll find at our farmers markets.
Market vase arrangements are designed and priced specifically for the market setting, while special orders involve additional time for planning, designing, cutting, conditioning, and creating an arrangement specifically around your vision.
Special arrangements start at $45 and increase from there depending on the size of the vase, amount of flowers, and overall design. Each arrangement is made individually and thoughtfully, using the flowers we have growing and blooming on the farm at the time of your order. Growing seasons runs June-October.
Because we cut everything fresh from our fields, special arrangements need to be ordered at least one day in advance whenever possible. I do my flower cutting in the early morning or later afternoon, when temperatures are cooler. Cutting during the heat of the day can cause freshly cut flowers to wilt or “flop,” so timing the harvest is an important part of making sure your flowers are as fresh and beautiful as possible.
When you order a special arrangement from us, you’re not choosing from a pre-made selection sitting in a cooler. I personally walk the fields, see what is blooming, and choose the flowers that will bring your arrangement together. We’ll talk about what you’re looking for, your preferred colors and style, and I’ll create something just for you with what the farm is offering that season.
Every arrangement is a little different and that’s part of the beauty of locally grown flowers.

Special Event Arrangements
Our special event arrangements are created a little differently than traditional florist arrangements. Because we grow all of our own flowers here at Barnas Cut Flower Farm, every arrangement is a reflection of what is naturally blooming on our farm.
Our growing season for fresh flowers generally runs from June through October, so the flowers available for your event will depend on what is blooming at that particular time of year. We do not purchase flowers from wholesalers or bring in flowers from outside sources.
Instead, we work with what our fields provide and design each arrangement around the season.
Because we are working directly with nature, specific flowers, colors, or varieties cannot always be guaranteed. Weather, heat, heavy rain, wind, pests, and other growing conditions can affect what is available and may occasionally cause a crop to bloom early, late, or not at all. If a particular flower is unavailable, we may need to make a substitution with another flower that is blooming beautifully at the time.
We see this as part of what makes locally grown flowers so special. Your arrangements will be seasonal, fresh, and uniquely connected to our farm and the time of year you're celebrating.
When you book with us, we'll talk through your vision, your event date, and the flowers you're hoping for, and we'll do our very best to bring it all together using what our farm has grown.
